“Nothing against the pod media guys. Just investment and time vs treasure size. I will always defend decentralization in Gnars, and I agree with some points made. As I said before, I would like to see more people taking care of pod media. A lot of good creators and media managers in the Gnars community would be a good fit too. Otherwise, we are centralizing everything. Maybe every 4/6month we need to change the media managers. Obs: Good builders, old and new, would like to build and talk about Gnars in calls, etc., but they feel that Discord has become a place of fighting and disrespect regarding different opinions. If we don't change that mindset, everyone will keep building Gnars alone and not as a community. That prop already passed. Good luck, guys, make it worth.”

“INTERESTING MECHANISM FOR REWARDING THE COMMUNITY. I think it risks the investment; it's more of a gift for the community. We need to think of a way to manage it well so that the prizes stay in the hands of different people who participate and do more than just farm dollars and NFTs. I would go for it, but it seems to me that it's something that won't last more than 3 months. These types of programs attract a lot of people but few real ones. Promising less and working more should be what we offer to athletes.”

I remember when we helped you and Bless Skateshop through a tougher moment... but that’s another topic.. On metrics happy to share. But it’s important to note: before this, there wasn’t much beyond X managed by Gami. Farcaster, Instagram, blogs, videos, and activations came from us executing approved proposals. That’s the DAO system working, i think.. in a Gnarly Way. On decentralization, I agree with the principle. The DAO is open, and anyone can propose and execute. That’s exactly what we did. Regarding votes and the treasury... I stand by my decisions. You can check my voting history, it’s all there. I act with a clear conscience, that im trying to contribute to the DAO within my principles, skills or vibe... so bro, everything is onchain and transparent for anyone to review. On self-promotion: I don’t fully see it that way. I’d invite you to look at our profiles and see if there’s really self-promotion between me, Zima, Nogenta, and Will, or if we’ve been highlighting different shredder, especially those active through DAO proposals... across pages and newsletters, we’re genuinely trying to build content that actually connects with the DAO. And if there’s room to improve on that, please feel free, brother, to share feedback on Discord, drop it in the channel, or even open a Trello card so we can track it, and when i say we, should be the DAO because this is on Discord. Also, I’d invite you to show me again any video or production where you reached out for support. I’ve seen you active on other DAOs like Skatehive, and the “zero support” claim doesn’t fully match what I see. I do remember some product proposals.. a board and the Big Shot Kim glasses.. but that was a while ago. More recently, in terms of initiative (like the Gnarly skateshop idea), do you feel it really landed and had strong follow-through with the DAO? I hope this isn’t coming from frustration around the recent Gnars rounds. As you know, the outcome was decided and voted by Nouners. I do agree Gnars should grow beyond a small circle, bringing in more skaters, shops, and contributors. But for that to happen, it’s important to plug into the flow and system align with the DAO, plan a proposal, get it passed, and deliver it well, or find other ways to contribute consistently beyond proposals. Also bro, gnars it's about Action Sports Onchain, not only Skateboard. Important to say that. Happy to continue this on Discord...not as an attack, but to better understand this and improve together.”

“I voted AGAINST this prop #119 and here’s why no bullshit. Our belived Gnars was born to empower real skaters, crews, skateshops and the entire action sports scene worldwide not to become a recurring self-promotion platform for the same 3 guys as always !! In their last PodMedia proposal (#97 on 29/08/2025), one of the figures from Podmedia said: “More than just creating content, our work is about building bridges and opening real possibilities for shredders. It’s about inspiring the current and future generations, keeping the community spirit alive and connecting people through a collective energy that transcends borders. It’s about giving voice to the identity and resistance this community represents, telling stories and highlighting talents that often don’t get the recognition they deserve!! Every project we work on carries this responsibility: strengthening the culture, pushing limits and showing that Gnars is so much more than a sport. Gnars is expression. Gnars is community… blah blah blah.” https://www.gnars.com/proposals/97 For the last 3 years these same builders have been getting sporadic or direct funding to “maintain the MEDIA”, but in all that time: ZERO mentions, ZERO shoutouts, ZERO support for Bless Skateshop here in Brazil and for other people who also participate in the GNARS DAO in BR. Not a single post on IG, X, Farcaster, Gnarly News or Zora. (And keep in mind we create content on Zora every single day yet there’s not one mention of our skateshop, our events, our work teaching web3 to skaters in São Paulo, the obstacles we built, or the global pizza party we threw on 22/05 with real decentralized communities like Pizza DAO.) https://x.com/gnars_dao https://www.instagram.com/gnarsdao/ https://zora.co/@gnars Meanwhile this proposal is asking for US$ 3.900 + 11 NFTs (8 of them guaranteed to their own team) to produce content that basically promotes only their stuff, Yan’s videos and their own internal narratives. 'Skate Every Day' sounds cool on paper, but the bulk of the budget and NFTs goes to the same people. As always. This isn't decentralization, it's treasure hoarding by a closed group. Even worse: I’ve seen these same guys voting AGAINST other holders’ proposals calling them “too expensive” or “not the right time”, preaching treasury saving and blábláblá… but when it’s for themselves, they ask for high funding to post on social media about themselves or just copy-paste/reblog random stuff from people who aren’t even in the web3 universe (I’m tired of seeing it over and over) just to chase views. No onboarding, no bringing new athletes into the ecosystem always the same faces. Total, annoying hypocrisy. The treasury is sitting at 8.76 ETH (~$44k). This money could go to real grants for independent skaters, athlete sponsors, physical events in SP or RJ, collabs with local skateshops like Bless and others, or new shapes on boards.wtf that actually benefit everyone. Instead we’re gonna keep funding 3 more months of self-promotion for the same 3 guys?? Enough !! Gnars should be bigger than this. If the DAO really wants to grow, it needs to include the people who contribute outside this small inner circle, like a skateshops, crews, regular skaters and artists. Until that changes, my vote is NO to any proposal that keeps concentrating everything in the same hands.If you want to prove this is good for actually for the community: show real metrics from the last 3 years (views, growth, skaters helped outside your group, number of onboardings, shoutouts to BR skateshops, and a breakdown of how this actually benefits anyone who isn’t part of the Pod Media team). Bless Skateshop keeps shredding and supporting the scene with or without Gnars. But Gnars could be so much more if it stopped being an exclusive club for the same 3 figures. Sk8 or die with real inclusion !!”
