“I think it what Monik is doing is very valuable and as a woman I respect and admire what she has achieved, but I think that the proposal itself is lacking information such as the real costs of registrations, more information about the event, etc. This is the main reason why I would vote against. If the prop was reformulated, I would surely vote for Monik.”

“Gnarly, the proposal sounds interesting, the idea of being able to sponsor athletes individually, but it would be good to do it in an organized way and with clear objectives since there isn't a constant flow of resources that allows us to simply provide support. There are a lot of talented people here who would like to have that opportunity. I think DAO isn't prepared to have these kinds of investments without a clear long-term vision right now. I'd like to see how DAO evolves with athletes who want to do things collectively, FOR change. - The HackMD link you shared can't be opened. - You have very good content on Instagram and Facebook, but I see few posts and nothing that connects with what's being done now at Gnars. Could you propose something with Gnars TV or see how you can integrate the content you would produce and maybe think about how to connect your friends or sponsors with Gnars? - Your milestones aren't clear. As an idea, it could be anything else. I think we can incentivize content creation as an audiovisual product recorded with a mobile phone or other readily available devices, documenting your trip and leaving a record of your participation. With this video, we could generate rewards for you and the community using Zora, or you can use any other protocol that allows you to monetize this content and make it inspire others and connect your story to digital assets. ”

“One of the few girls within our community, Monik represents something that goes far beyond competition. I agree with Vlad on several points, but at the same time it’s good to have Monik around. I believe she adds value to the community. I just think she could participate a bit more in the conversations, ask more questions, interact more with everyone, and it’s not the first time I’m saying this lol I feel that everyone here in the Gnars is always open to dialogue, whether it’s to learn, teach, or simply exchange ideas about projects. In the end, community is built exactly like that, with presence, exchange, and participation. Either way, I wish you good luck on this journey.”

“Lately, we've seen DAO supporting several projects by Gnars OG members, such as props 89, 95, 97, 99, 101, 104... with values similar to or greater than what Monika requests to live her dream in an elitist and prejudiced sport like surfing, which lacks brands like skateboarding to support men, and where it's twice as difficult for women to advance on this path because there's almost no support. Bless Skateshop supports this prop and hopes that Monika can achieve all her goals and dreams. Let's Go Monika!!”
