View and participate in Gnars DAO governance proposals
We propose the renewal of the Media Pod to sustain and expand its operations after 1 year and 2 months of continuous contribution. This new cycle focuses on maintaining an active Gnars presence across multiple social platforms, as well as the Gnars Community wallet, a key touchpoint for ecosystem interactions such as with Zora, Giveth, and DAO-integrated tools and mini-apps.
Our goal is to ensure consistent communication through regular posts, photos, videos, and in-depth content, including Gnarly News updates and special video drops while supporting the broader nounish culture and keeping the flame of the Gnars spirit alive.
As part of this next chapter, we will also organize two Gnars Contests: one artistic (URL), engaging creators and protocols, and one sport-focused (IRL), activating skaters, nounish spaces, and the community through crypto-backed prizes. This proposal secures the next 6 months of active engagement, strengthening the link between community, media, and governance, and setting the tone for an exciting start to the coming year.
Our last Media Pod proposal was funded at $8,550, but given the current need for greater treasury mindfulness, we’re requesting 5,730 this time — split between USDC and ETH. This will help sustain the Media Pod’s operations and keep the DAO’s creative engine running.
Since launching the Gnars profile on Farcaster, we’ve been actively engaging through posts, likes, shares, and channel interactions. As a result, we received 30 USDC in rewards from the Farcaster Ranking. These funds were used to support shredders and builders via tips on the Noice miniapp, creating value, boosting creativity, and spreading good vibes across the community.
Posts like Gnarly News articles on Paragraph and COINtent drops on Zora are not just content, they’re sources of value creation. These initiatives generate onchain revenue that flows directly into the Gnars treasury, strengthen the community.
The Zora airdrop went live, and the account we created to curate gnarly/nounish content and support shredders was eligible, since we had already interacted with the protocol and collected a few pieces. The claim was executed early, directly via Baseblock using the proxy, before the chart started to dip, securing around 197 USDC. With those funds, we swept the latest Droposals on gnars.com and then transferred the full amount in USDC to the Gnars treasury- Hash:
The GnarsDAO profile on Giveth, which we created and have been managing over the past year, was recently selected to participate in one of Giveth’s funding rounds. Through this opportunity, we’ve raised a total of US$424.35 in USDGLO, supported by 38 contributors and 100% of these funds have been directed straight to the Gnars treasury. These contributions not only reinforce our mission to push forward action sports culture within Web3 but also show how collective, transparent support can generate real onchain impact. Every donation helps keep our projects alive, evolving, and deeply connected to the community.
We’ve maintained a consistent presence across Farcaster, Instagram, and YouTube for over a year, using these platforms to actively engage with the community and document the ongoing evolution of GnarsDAO. Through regular interactions and posts, we aim to preserve and expand the value of both past and present initiatives by transforming them into media and communication assets.
Our content strategy includes targeted engagement with niche communities in skateboarding, surfing, and snow sports, as well as direct interaction with shredders, builders, and Nouns subDAOs. This ongoing work ensures that updates are communicated promptly and that the DAO remains connected across layers of the ecosystem.

Through the Gnarly News articles, we’ve been able to highlight important milestones within the DAO, aligning them with broader Nounish achievements and sharing essential context and history. This has proven the value of consistent storytelling, documenting our journey onchain through images, videos, GIFs, digital art, and gnarly energy. We see this work not only as a communication task but as a fundamental layer of DAO memory, impact, and cultural presence.
The Media Pod plays a fundamental role in supporting the Gnars community — from onboarding and brand presence to artistic direction and engagement. It helps maintain key structural elements like logo usage, brand consistency, and organized asset storage through platforms like Drive and Terabox. The Pod is also actively involved in brainstorming sessions and cross-pod collaborations, such as the support provided to Rocketman during the development of Flows Gnars, including special video content, testing, and close work alongside the Tech Pod.
Estabilish The Pod Media & Gnars Pod Media 2.0
Community Engagement: Strengthen the GnarsDAO brand through strategic media, storytelling, and interaction with our audience. Boost the main posts and achievements of athletes and the gnars community on IG, Farcaster and Gnarly News. Daily Work.
Gnarly News: We propose continuing the blog-style communication initiative we launched last season (at least 1 per month). After publishing six posts, it became clear how much this approach helps professionalize our projects and highlight onchain information in a clear, accessible format. It has proven to be a positive tool for the DAO, serving as a direct update channel for the community, builders, enthusiasts, and everyone involved. This new phase would maintain the momentum by documenting key proposals, sports and artistic initiatives, and broader crypto moments, offering context and visibility to what’s happening within Gnars. Content will be published on platforms like Paragraph or Mirror and uploaded in Markdown format to Odysee, along with our special video content, further strengthening Gnars’ onchain presence.
We plan to continue using the Gnarly News page or the new Gnars Community profile for distribution across Farcaster, Discord, X, and more.
Social Media Management: Provide consistent and engaging content across Instagram/Farcaster/Youtube, maintaining a daily posting schedule.
Video Content Creation: Develop a steady stream of high quality videos showcasing our athletes, community events, and creative projects.
Branding: All content will follow GnarsDAO’s branding, ensuring consistency with the visual identity rooted in the Nouns ecosystem. This includes the use of Noggles, logos, icons, open-source fonts, and other creative assets, both onchain and offchain. By aligning with these standards, we reinforce the cultural presence of Gnars and Nouns across every touchpoint.
Growth and Interaction: Grow followers and boost engagement through community-driven activities, creative collaborations, and interactive content. The strategy also includes fun and playful posts with meme value, tapping into the attention economy while keeping the profile active and culturally relevant. We aim to communicate across the full spectrum from the archaic humor of the early internet to today’s most innovative trends.
We’re entering a critical communication cycle during a crypto bull run, with a focus on keeping Gnars relevant and engaged through 2026. Our team will deliver a monthly content calendar featuring athlete highlights, Web3 updates, creative media, meme's, and community stories. We’ll produce consistent audiovisual content aligned with GnarsDAO’s branding, support the structure and production of two upcoming Gnars Contests, and deploy interactive posts to boost engagement. Performance will be monitored through analytics to optimize strategy and ensure Gnars remains active, visible, and valued across all channels.
Over the next six months, PodMedia will produce consistent content across Farcaster, YouTube, and Instagram highlighting athletes, events, creative projects, and key DAO milestones. We'll curate onchain creations (Droposals, NFTs) from the community through the Gnars Community profile, strengthening engagement and visibility.
We’ll organize and manage two Gnars Contests: one URL focused on artists and protocols, and one IRL involving skaters, nounish spaces, and crypto prizes both deeply connected to the DAO and documented across our channels.

Prize Pool: 280 USDC
Both contests aim to fuel the onchain sports/art culture and expand the GnarsDAO footprint in a fun and engaging way.
Alongside this, we’ll continue running Gnars News, publishing key updates and proposals in technical blog format and minting them as NFTs via platforms like Paragraph. With strong branding, daily effort, and strategic storytelling, we aim to grow the audience, drive interaction, and keep GnarsDAO active and thriving.
We see this work as essential to keeping GnarsDAO at the forefront of the Sports and Art space especially after more than a year of dedicated media efforts, during a pivotal crypto bull run. As we close out 2025 and move into 2026, we anticipate a wave of gnarly and nounish accomplishments that deserve to be documented, celebrated, and recorded onchain, forever. Beyond that, this continued effort ensures Gnars maintains the credibility it deserves as one of the most unique DAOs on the blockchain, born from a groundbreaking proposal within NounsDAO. Gnars must stay active and expanding, carrying its vision forward. Thank you for your continued support. Let’s keep building, stay gnarly, and carry the Nounish spirit forward.
